The Executive Committee of the Indian Music Group consists of a group of students of St. Xavier's College chosen each academic year by the Advisory Board of the Indian Music Group. This Board, with the Principal as Chairman, consists of a few Faculty Members of the College, along with alumni and other experts, knowledgeable in Indian Classical Music.

The Executive Committee is headed by a General Secretary and comprises of a Treasurer and Members who head the various departments like Venue Management, Artist Management, Press & Publicity, Reception & Design, Exhibition and Souvenirs.

They are responsible for organising the various programmes of the IMG like the Baithaks, Mini-Baithaks, Lecture Demonstrations and Music Appreciation Courses.

Together with the support and guidance of the Advisory Board, they bring JanFest – the IMG's Annual Music Festival to life year after year.
